The chapel was built in 16 century. It was said these bones and skulls were from 5000 bodies of normal people which had been burried in city cemetery, or of monks from various churchyards.
このチャペルは16世紀に作られた。5000人分の骨は、町の共同墓地から掘り出された一般市民のものだとも、近隣多数の教会墓地から運ばれた修道士のものだとも言われているようだ。
