聴いたこともない不思議な音階、変拍子、計算し尽くされた雑音……。電気に頼らずアコースティックな普通の楽器と簡単な器具だけで、風を感じさせ、さらにこれほど多様な色彩と、地球上のあらゆる光景をひとりびとりの脳裏に描いてみせるバンドを、私は知っていただろうか…？

RAW現像に初めてLightroomを使った。

静寂と無音もまた、曲の構成要素となっている。極端に小さい音を聴き分けようと、そして次の音が始まる瞬間を探ろうと、ピンと張りつめた沈黙の空間に、微かにもカメラのシャッター音を響かせるのは憚られたが、前衛ジャズ・アーティストの、どうしても写真に留めたい瞬間があった。

スタンダードジャズの常連で、このライブ中は座席で拷問だった客もいたようだ。静寂や無音の時も含めて、私は意外と食い入るように聴いてしまった。昔ピンクフロイドあたりのプログレにはまった経験者なら耐えられるんじゃないか、との説も後で飛び出した。ジャズにしろロックにしろ、音楽を主にビートで感じる人には、変拍子と無音の小節はツライだけだろう。
